Greyhound Racing

After the obligatory three S’s, we get cabs to the dog racetrack in Hove.

Here we have tables booked in the terraced restaurant. This is all enclosed with large glass screens giving an excellent view over the track, augmented by television screens.

A man in a small booth takes our bets whilst we eat our meals and attempt to understand the betting terms. I have a 100% success record until the second race – OK, had a flukey win on the first race and that was that! I even attempted to check they had a full complement of 4 legs, but this didn't seem to help.

Steak was a bit tough, but everyone else seems to enjoy theirs.
